Welcome, and thanks for checking out my work.
I've been painting caricatures since 2005 after first being inspired by the work of Derren Brown and Sebastian Kruger, then later by many other amazing artists such as Jason Seiler and Paul Moyse.
I'd painted a range of other subjects in the past (including Formula 1 cars and science fiction) but found caricature to offer an exciting mix of creativity and the realism of portraiture. Since then I've painted many faces both traditionally and digitally and I've become self-employed as a gift caricaturist and caricature illustrator.
I work mainly digitally, painting and sketching with Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro using a digital tablet. I've also done several large acrylic on canvas paintings (the caricature portrait on the right is the largest so far at 5ft high) and also sometimes paint smaller works in oils.

This new site showcases my best illustration work so far and I'm committed to expand that side of my work and continue to learn and improve. Recently I've provided caricature illustrations for The Wall Street Journal, cover illustrations for the UK edition of The Week and I regularly produce cover illustrations for The Skeptic Magazine. I've also illustrated the mammoth collection of Skeptic Top Trumps.
Through my gift caricature website Caricature Club I take commissions for gift work.
Please feel free to contact me with comments, constructive criticisms or commissions.
Cheers!
Neil
