"Big Cat"
It took Jaguar three attempts after returning to Le Mans to finally overcome the dominant Porsche 956/962. The car that took the honours in 1988 was the stunning XJR-9, piloted by Jan Lammers, Johnny Dumfries and Andy Wallace. It has always been one of the best looking Group C cars for me, especially with the glorious purple and orange Silk Cut livery.
